Goals

1)  Access Kansas Legislature to:

• Pass legislation to benefit KHFA members
• Ensure no legislation is passed that will be detrimental to private health and fitness centers
• Seek legislation that will level the playing field between KHFA members and not-for-profit groups

2)  Provide and Organization to:

• Be a unified voice to local governments
• Aid in stopping growth and/or competition of non-profits against member clubs
• Assist KHFA members is dealing with local governments

3)  Increase awareness of healthy lifestyle:

• Benefits of exercise
• Benefits of proper nutrition
• Advantages of joining a private health and fitness club

4)  Participate and sponsor statewide health and fitness events such as: Get Fit Kansas, Sunflower State Games and others
